How to tell distributors apart from each other?

Default How to tell distributors apart from each other?

Are there any markings on the cast? Specifically referring to B series vtec to non vtec dizzys........

I know there are casting #'s on them and whatnot, but I'm not to certain if theres a list out there with #'s saying what they are. I thinks kinda one of those deals.. if the glove fits its the right deal. B/D series dizzys are interchangable so be careful, obviously the timing will be in a different spot though.

Found the marking on one of the ears, TD44U did some searching and its an obd1 b series vtec dizzy.
