When it comes to rebuilding my motor how more overbore should my limit be? I plan on running 18psi or so on a filled block. Is a 75.5mm doing to be too much for my ZC?

 

75.5 should be cool

 

if there is nothing wrong with the cylinders ull be fine with stock bore
just hone it a tad

 

But I found good deal on SRPs with Rings nd the right DOme that I need!

 

don't go more than .5 over and you'll be fine.

 

Cool guys. Thanks I just ucks having a ZC and ant to keep around 9.1:1 CR. All the good deals on pistons are for 8.5:1 - 9:1 on Z6 and Y8 and that would just make things too low. These will put me at 9.15:1 with the dome and overbore.

BTW: People say SRPs are crap. Is this true. I'm not building a race motor here. Just Filler, Eagles, Cams, and 18psi most of the time, but will probably daily around 14, but if I want the odd run at 22 against the good ol' rednecks at the track I get around here I can.

i had 8.8:1 srps in my d16a6 and loved em, ---- loved boost

 

i have a set of 8.5:1 srps for my b16a

 

srp are just a lil higher in silicone content and better for the daily driver. made similar to JE's. I'm sure they are good. Forged is what you care about.
