on most cars it is fairly easy...just get new bolts (or studs), gaskets, etc

its EZ all you gotta do is basic ub-bolting to get the head off then put the new gasket on and torque it down with a torque wrench so you know you have it tightened right i believe its like 75LBS. for torquing but double check in the book on it to be sure anyways its basic i just changed mine and if your head bolts are in good condition then you can re-use those or just pick-up spme ARP's oh and while the heads off you might wanna get the head checked ot make sure its smooth since you blew the gasket there is a chance that the head warped just a side note tho. hope i helped ya out peace -mike

was doing about 100 fouth gear,as i shifted 5th i saw that huge white cloud coming out of my exaust and my car died,i pulled over and as i open the hood i realized that the coolant reservoir cap was off and i had coolant all over the engine bay plus i checked the oil and off course i had water, and also i tried to turn the car on right after it happened and it wouldn't start(i think it lost compression)i remenber checking my air/fuel gauge right before it happens and it was fine, just like everything else.PLEASE TELL ME WHAT U GUYS THINK,THANKS

u have to take the timing belt off if i remember correctly.. just mark the belt and cams sprockets where they are so u can put them back the same way.

have u done a compression check? My winter car was thought to have a blown HG.. turns out it was a cracked head :/

Haven't checked the compression,is there any other way i can look and see if my head had been damaged?
