How does bent valve look like?

I just wanted to know how bent valve look like? Anyone has a pix? Is all valve suppose to be close? Or does some open while other close?

you just cant look at them and tell. Poor water into the ports if water leaks out into the combustion chamber there are your bent valves simple

are all valve suppose to be close when the engine is off? I actually have the head with me. Its already off the block. Are they suppose to be close while some are open?

yep, your going to have to turn the cam to get the open ones closed.

If the cam(s) is installed, there will be some open and some closed. Remove the cam, and all of them should close completely.
