how big of an overbore could i go without sleeving the block???
 

this will be "semi-built" for boost im tryin not to sleeve my block...it's a dohc zc so i need to know how big of an overbore could i go without sleeving the block???

Honestly it would be a negative to bore the motor, you would gain minimal hp while increasing the risk of cracking a sleeve substantially, if you HAVE to bore it, go as little as possible ;)

everybody says no more than .40 so i went .20 to be super safe

on tock sleeves with no support i would not overbore the engine.

20 is as much as I would bore over stock sleeves.

yeah im asking .....but i only plan to bore what i have to(im not tryin to bore for fun)yeah im still lookin into block posting....and it looks like everyone is sayin .20 over so im gonna try to stay in that area....thanks guys

76mm (.040") works fine for NA, dunno about boost though.......

I went 76mm. It was fine untill I tried to tune it myself. :1
