I think the carbon is more for looks. The lighter you make the front end, the more traction issues you will have. At least thats how I look at it. I try to keep all the weight over the front wheels that I can (battery, steel hood). If you're looking on lightening the car up, focus more towards the rear IMO.

The 150lbs refers to the cubic weight of the package and not the actual weight.....

Nothing like buying 400 Dollars worth of cheap carbon just to drill shoddy holes in it for the hood pins it will require to hold it on and........welcome to 1997 rockin hood pins on the honduh.

Does it ABSOLUTELY REQUIRE hood pins? Would the OEM latch be sufficient to hold it on? I'm not going to be driving 100mph everywhere I go. Give me some more input on this I'm a carbon fiber virgin.
