You're always a pleasant mix of helpful and disagreeable, Bone.

Just buy a good manual and take your time carefully labelling ot pictures of where everything was when you took it out.

Sorry JD, I'm very good at puzzles. Trannys are just a puzzle to me.

If I could write (or cared to even TRY!) I would have been a engineer. I'd rather be hands on and get it done.

I was the kind in Advanced Math class that just wrote the answers down without showing the work, I did it all in my head.

But if I can take a HMT beaner (too much Mencia!) and show him HANDS on one time how to go through a tranny, now he does his own.........Felix, thanks for the tranny deal with Seth!!!!!!!!

You want a writeup, with the mistakes I warned him about, look up BauleyCivic's articles on HondaTech. I walked him thru via AIM and pictures. If we lived closer I'd have him do the writing while I did the work.

FIRST D tranny insider info I know of..........

http://hybrid2.honda-perf.org/tech/zcsifdswap.html

What you didn't hear was how John manage to put the reverse idler gear in backwards, the writeup, I was there watching, how I learned.

Guess I'm just a old school, old fart......

Yet your spelling is impeccable, you communicate in a straightforward waste-no-words manner, and it's always about a technical matter.

Go back to school, you old fart.
