I checked mine a few months ago but can't remember. I think it's 5v closed and decreases when opened.

Check the helms

i did find in an old thread that the voltage was .45 closed and 4.75 fully opened so that would mean that it is a normal type sensor so i think i answered my own question but it never hurts to double check

if i'm not mistaken i think some honda TPS sensors use a smaller signal. I remember we hooked my buddy's GSR to a lab scope, and his tps was like 1.5V shy of 5 at WOT, and i think the Idle was the same. I'd assume his TPS was okay given the fact that he didn't have a CEL, but then again it's OBD1 so who knows. But yeah you basically got it.

.5volt at idle
and should be about 4.8 WOT.
