ok, what kind of bit do i use to drill the holes for tapping? in the website, it did not say how deep to go and how big the drill bit or what type to do the holes for tapping... anywhere i can get studs? damn it, i think i had some ford escort exhaust manifold studs and i threw them out! stupid me..

 

It depends upon the size of the studs. Normally, it's on the tap. Use a good quality high speed steel or cobalt drill bit, and make sure you remove any burrs around the hole you tapped.

 

Also drill straight and slow!Otherwise youll end up with a crooked bolt when you put it in.
