hf to b-16 swap injectors pumping too much fuel

something is wrong in the wiring..

if u pulled them from an 88-91 car that was running you did something wrong in the wiring.

the injectors were from an Ls. the car is an hf. and the engine was b61a with a diff, and when we got it, it turned out to be obd1. but besides the injectors flooding the manifold i don't see any way to get gas in the oil. in older cars it would be a flooding carb. or blown seal on the fuel pump, but i've never seen this in a fuel injected car.

WE figured it out, it was the obd1 injectors on the obd0 system. there was just some leftover gas that we were smelling. i gues it takes a while to flush out.

when you flood a cyl the gas leaks past the rings eventually. which gives u gas in the oil.


BTW. we tried tellin him it was the wrong injectors!
