smelling gas in my oil. have changed injectors and replaced pressure regulator with crx si regulator, still didnt work. any advice?

 

gas in oil? your rings are probably fucked.

 

what injectors? stock HF?

 

they were for b-16 with obd1 but im not using obd so i changed from those to ones from an ls

was the LS Obd1 too? you need obd0

maybe you wired them wrong?

 

their is no injector wirring needed for this swap. Obd-1 injectors have two tabs on the inside where they plug into the wirring harness and obd-0 only has one tab in the center. make sure there obd-0.

 

they are definetely obd0. and the motor i pulled them from ran. could there be an hf sensor i would need to change. i cant figure this ---- out.

 

check to make sure the fuel lines going from the filter and the fuel rale are flowing correctly. It may sound dumb but ive see it before .

hey blake this is lonzo. what you need to find out is, how would gas get into the oil. if anyone would have ahd this happen before, AND ITS NOT THE RINGS. no smoke, no oil burning. we originally thought the injectors were staying on when the car was off, or some weird ---- like that. but this was obd1 engine and we converted it to obd0 and it seemed to run fine, just this little(big) problem..
