Default hey jeff i got some $$$ for ya

hey jeff i was wondering how much u would charge me to to do a mini me swap on a 89 civic 4 door with the dpfi
i no u got to change the dpfi over to mpfi so just give me a idea on how much u would charge me to do this i live in west seattle. also i have everything for the swap, and if need would buy stuff i dont have. or would it just be eazier to do a zc swap? the only reason i want to do a mini me swap is because i already have all the parts.

With the abundant tutorials, and how-to information at your finger tips, not to mention the forum resources, why not do the swap yourself?

I've done many mini-me swaps of all kinds and would gladly answer any questions you may have about the swap. As long as you attempt to help yourself as well.

Here are the basics..

First, swap over your fuel system. Search the board, it's been done over and over again. I've seen the posts first hand.

Then put together the mini. You can do whatever you want, any DX block with a VTec head. Different ones yield different results. Personally, I use the Y7/Y8 combo now. This has yeilded great results. Since the Y7 block is newer, I've been getting them with relatively no miles. (Out of my last 3 motors, the one with the most miles on it was 15K) This will give youa strong foundation for your engine.

I use Y8 heads ease of use. With a Z6 head, you'll have to modify your OBD0 distributor to fit. With a Y8, it bolts up perfectly. Anyway..

Get your MPFI swap done, and we'll tackle the Mini swap..

I'd use your a6 block (get it compression tested b4 u take the head off), with y8 head, a6 intake manifold and 16 dizzy. pm6 ecu w/ msd rpm switch.

your smart *** remarks are sure getting nicer by the day.

I've been busy, and the board is doing exactly what I want it to do, there are plenty of users on this board that have just as much, if not more info than I have on this kinds of stuff. I'm tired of spending hours and hours in front of my computer, unless its looking at black ****

If you want something installed, contact me via email Jeff@homemadeturbo.com to set something up.
