some1 correct me if im wrong.. but a zdyne is just a pm6 w/ vtecc hookup right? try a d16a6 civic/crx si harness and see what the plugs look like on that.

in the past 3 days I have succeeded in removing my d15b2. I think the funnest part was pulling the axles because that was easy ---- with the ball joint fork.


Do I have to get a whole new enine wiring harness because my dx one doesn't have 4 injector clips? or can I just wire them in? If I do chose to get a new one what cars could I pull it off of?

you should just be able to wire in injector clips if you don't have them. I don't see why not.

ya u can just add the wires for the 2 additional injectors.

ball joint seperators suck, they ALWAYS rip your boots. you can just bang on the side of your lower control arm where the ball joint goes in with a hammer

we banged on it for a while and it wasn't working, so we went to autozone and got the fork. I didn't notice the boots tearing, but I wasn't looking for it. I'll check them the next time I'm at the shop. I tore the cv boot hammering on it trying to get it into the car and I bought some rubber sealer/fixer stuff for it and it looks solid.


I don't even have injector clips, anybody know the part number for those? the existing dpfi clips are round and the mpfi ones are square.


I used my dx right side axle on the left side of my b16 because I got a long left side axle and the b16 came with an intermidiate shaft that I couldn't get off. what kind of problems is that going to cause?


what do I hook up the zdyne 1 wire vtec thing to? there is a 2 prong plug on the vtec solenoid and 1 wire coming off of it as well

(shaking head) All your problems would be over if you would of shipped me that engine so I could of done the install in my car then told you what I did.

I haven't found out about the pump, but if I do get another pump I'll probably be getting an aftermarket one with higher flow rate. but thanks for having it available.

questions that remain: none really, I'm getting the shift linkage welded tomarrow, I'm buying the injector clips from arpa, I found a distributor with tuner toys (if anyone has and obd0 vtec dizzy I'd be willing to buy from you since the tuner toys rebuilds are $279 without the core), I have the wiring all solved--I just need to do it-- after all that the motor should run.
