so he talked with a tech at work and now he thinks its a main bearing... but wouldnt it loose oil pressure when it did that? cuz it will stay in VTEC and not drop out, at least till 6500 anyway...
so now i guess the plan is to continue to drive it lol. plans do not include that block. so i will be building a new block for it soon, and he is picking up a new tranny this week. clutch will also be replaced. so the bottom end and tranny will be scrapped, only plan to use the head and LSVTEC kit as we are pretty sure neither of those parts are the issue or should be effected.

***UPDATE***
well we pulled the motor last night, took it apart...... we where lied to pretty good. found some FORGED "PR3"s and LS rods that really look like Eagles lol...
so all 4 JE pistons (~12:1) are scored up pretty nice. skirts are fucked pretty good on 3 of them i think? cylinders are scratched. rods look minty. block as a block gaurd and has ARP headstuds like i could see when peeking in when doing a valve adjustment. rod bearings looked all good, probably replaced when motor was built, but they are OEM PR4 bearings. also the clutch, Exedy/stock, is FUCKED, cracked around the springs even though it looks brand new all the main bearings look like ----. all look like they have had debris in them, scratched to the copper on a couple, and just look like ----... oil pickup has been smashed. oh and stock P72 head with B16A cams <~got screwed
