Default Help no oil pressure

Just finished installing turbo now I have no oil pressure. I had the oil lines ran before and had perfect pressure. What I think it might me is that I used an non vtec oil pan on my z6. The non vtec oil pan is shallower and my z6 oil pickup sits lower. The oil pan bolts up fine but does it matter where the pickup sits in the pan. It might be either very close to bottom of pan or its touching. Thoughts please.

You have to use the oil pickup from the non-vtec d-series.

I'm think I'm just gonna try to get someone to weld a bung into my z6 pan and see what happens.
