I would think with that amount of smoke you have a MAJOR leak.

i said this in another tread too about thick white smoke, my buddies car POURED out white smoke like no other, thought it was the head gasket. took it in tested ----, wasnt it, then he came to find out it was bad gas? dunno how, cold have been becasue his car was sittin for about 3 weeks gettin body work done, but check that, cuz you never kno. I never heard of bad gas, but i guess thats what it was...
