I've been running the Comp cams/Zex camshaft in my mini-me with Z6 head and I like it alot. It's got alot of valve noise but you get used to it. Definately noticed a difference between the stock cam and the Comp cams.

What do you mean you get alot of Valve noise? I installed a Zex cam for a guy that had a turbo z6 and it sounded pretty stock to me? You did adjust your valves right?

Yeah, twice! I remember starting it up and thinking "Oh damnit, I just lost a rocker arm". I took it all appart and re-adjusted the valves and it still sounds the same. Just alot of ticking, but I asked around and talked to a few people and it's a normal thing for that cam.

yeah i'm pretty happy with the zex/comp cam im running. i even noticed a slight quicker spool too. I adjusted the valve lash to .006/intake and .008/exhaust and it sounds fine to me.
