HELP HELP!! still my ECU NOT WORKING...
 

EDIT BY MOD: Moving letters/words is gay.

I live in the Seattle Area..(West Seattle)
and i need some one to help me test out my OBD-1 ecu..

IE has OBD1 car(with Vtec) and good running order to prove that ECU works.
becuase i don't know any one that will let me plug my p08 ECU into there harness to test a few minuets of time

thats sound like a cry for help :o just pull up let me plug in the ECU turn the key ... 2 things should happen.. VROOM VROOM... or TIDATIDATIDATIDATIDATIDAYAA YAA YAAAA YAAAA.... :-X i got battery charger ( shouldn't need that )

Damn, I'm almost willing to drive out there for free pizza and beer. Damn,.....if only AZ was closer to WA. :'(

Are you getting any cels from the ECU?

ok the engine lite is one but

i was unsure if to trigger the Dianostic mode
i was to ground the lead or just put power to and if so what volt 12volt or less then 12 volt

i left that lead un wired.
thought CEL/MIL engine check lite is wired..
and engine lite is on..
duh!! should check that first.. I guess im just frustrated..jumping before looking..

DR boost Thanx for the BOOST IN CONFIDENCE :P

its helps if i can trigger CEL code.

i bridged C13( or D4)
to C22( or D22 ) which would trip ECU to give Cel Code..

lite is on and stays on.. no blinking.. nothing.. :o >:( (CRAP!) :( :o checked if there was problem with the proper connection to CEL light and that is good.



Tomarrow i will recheck the wires again.. with my check sheet.( which is a blown of version of Mitchell Harness diagram)

oh great... WHAT NEXT. diapers !! ;D ;D ;D ;)

im going add a extra ground lead to the Logic grounds becuase there Obd0 car does not have the same amount of grounds as the obd-1 car. going ad 12AWG split to 2 18AWG


after this i will reverifiy grounds..
at this point no one will get any beer and i will be drunk and stuffed full of pizza :o ;D ;D ;D ;Dweeeeeeeeeee!!!

What would keep the ECU from allowing the Engine to start

udner normal cercomstances

i have found absolutly nothing that would cause the ECU to fail.

and still no CEL's
or able to get cel's

I wonder if this Ecu is Automatic. p08. :-X
any how i will see if there is refrence to control Valve.. and bridge that to ground to get proper circuit

well i found out why the main relay was not kicking over..

it goes like this
(( pins are read from the Relay not by the manuals))
ok the pin#1 Yellow/White wire (12volt source)( from Fuse #37 15amp)

pin #5 Black/Yellow ( this is the wire the concerns me. )
one manual it list as ground, another VSS wire and Honda Manual not listed at all.

pin#4 BLUE/WHITE ( hot on START ) this is good.
pin#2 Black ( GROUND ) this is good

pin#7 Yellow/Black ( to fuel pump)

pin#8 GREEN/BLACK ( to ECUpin A15(orA14)A14(orA12) [ depending the manual your looking at]
pin#pin #3Yellow/Black ECU pins A7(orA13)A6(orA15)[ depending the manual your looking at]
ok when i put 12volt source to pin#5 ( Black/Yellow)
this turns on pin #3(12volts),#8( 8volts)
when Pin #8 is grounded ( which should be done via ECU)
pin #7 ( fuel pump/ INJector Power) turns on.

my problems is where in the HEll does PIN#5 ( BLACK/YELLOW) wire go to on the OBD-1 ECU...

i wired to accesory toggle switch so when the car is in run. or on it will turn the relay on.

my ecu still does not work..
