A regular high grade nut would do just fine though

its not as hard as u might think. flexplate bolts on a powerstroke are 12pt 18mm and i have ended up having to take many of them out with a air chisel. best thing to do is buy snap on sockets for stuff like that. a lot of people say snap on is a rip off but their stuff really is better though it is over priced but its worth it in the headaches itll save you

yea this is something i dont understand, ive watch all my friends strip ---- out and break stuff, or try loosen'n something and they r going the wrong way, ITS JUST COMMON FUCKN SENSE lol but good luck and yeah i wouldnt reccomend using a nut from the hardware store.
