thats crazy man, I remember when my bro's old mini-me was out and we tried to part it out, when it came to getting off the alternator we had the exact same prob. we spent 2 hrs with pbblaster,5ft pry, 5 lb sledge and nothing! we finally decided if someone bought the block they'd be getting a free alternator

After all the carnage, the pics just wouldn't do it justice. All you'll see is that bolt in 3 pieces with a mushroomed head where the threads are from me beating it. The real bitch was that I had to pull the knuckle and move the axle to get room. This was my first time using my compressor and new air tools and I have to say, without them, I could never have done it.
