OK.. So, I hopped in my car this morning, drove about 10 min from home, and then it wanted to act shitty. I mean, Rev limit- 3500 RPMS! It's an automatic. I punch it to the floor, the RPMS jump, but just slows me down. I ease on the gas, it will go, until about 65 when D hits 3500 RPMs. I've never seen some ---- like this before! Stock b18. Stock everything! I pulled over, cut it off, cut it back on, rev'd it in park, hit 7000 RPMs. Pull out of the parking lot, shifts OK for a sec. Then, BAM, rev limit 3500 RPMs again! Stop at a stop sign, cut it off, and back on. Rev to 7000 in neutral. Popped it in D, burnout! once the tires caught, it rev'd to about 6500 before it shifted! Does this make any sense to anyone

Sounds like a tranny issue to me. Not sure how... But I know B series auto trannies are pretty shitty.

 

I didn't get a chance to check the code. But I agree it is possibly a tranny issue. I recently had to replace the shift control selonoid and the lock-up solenoide.. Those are on the tranny! See, the only downside to the ---- is.. I bought this for a DD, and dont want it to be 5spd. I wanted an auto. I think I may find out what is wrong with it now, and sucker some 15 year old kid that wants an integra!

 

Dude if she's good she can still get to you around the shifter, you don't need an auto for daily driven road head if she's dedicated enough
