head work
im building the head for my b18b. im getting the valve guides pressed out and new bronze ones pressed in, new seals, dual valve springs, nitride coated SS valves, and tit. retainers. if i buy stock sized valves, then i wont need a valve job correct? i dont wanna have to pay a shop large amounts of money to do this for me.

Re: head work
if youve never taken a head apart, at least get a helms manual to walk you through it.
headwork is expensive, theres no getting around it. i payed 900 for porting, valve job, deshrouding valve area in chambrs, polish chambers, resurface, and reassembly with all new seals. all done by portflow.
