head machining
i'll make this quick. built b16 bottom, stock head. put new engine together w/ old head, leaked oil from inbetween block/head by the passenger side dowel pin, pulled head to get decked.
NOW, is there anything else i should be looking at for this? because i really don't want to throw it back together and keep having this problem. do i need to get the dowel pins machined down as well? i've had nothing but problems w/ this car, and i just want to get it running right w/ no issues for once. |
Re: head machining
Why not grab a straight edge and feeler gauge, look up the specs on warpage, and see if they need to be resurfaced. Simple
