Oh Dave I don't know about the exhaust either, i have a 91 teg mani and it wasn't going to meet up with my stock exhaust so I had to make a test pipe, but i think it might have worked if I had a cat from and integra and not the crx one, if you are boosting it right away that won't matter but give you a heads up, I didn't even think about it before untill i was bolting it up

Ok, first thing's first...the 2 solenoids you're talking about, 1 is for the purge canister (just like the stock crx one) and the other is for the fpr. It's a really weird setup...they have the fpr vacuum line controlled through the solenoid somehow. If you check out the vacuum diagrams in the online manuals posted here, it'll show you what i mean. I swapped in my b18a without the solenoids, and just used the solenoid for the purge canister on my dx harness and routed the vacuum lines like a normal si motor and haven't popped any cels yet. About the throttle cable, yes...you have to swap in the dc cable. The main difference is where the cable actually mounts to the intake. The si cable is plenty long enough, but the mount is just too far back on the b-series intake to even bolt it on and have it reach the wheel for your throttle plate.

Thanks for the clarification.

No problem ;)

I also noticed there is a 2 pin sensor on the back of the B18 block that looks like a temp sensor. My A6 doesn't have this. It only has the 2 in the head. So I don't bother with it?

i dont think the purge valve is for the fpr, who would do that? i think the second one goes to that thing that attaches to the tbody. which isnt really necessary

Yes the purge valve is inline with the solenoid.

That's what i was wondering too at first...but every b series vtec and non-vtec manual i've looked at all have the same thing. The line comes from the low vacuum source off the throttle body, goes to the 2nd solenoid in line with the evap canister solenoid, and then down to the fpr. Really gay setup if you ask me. Like i said before, i have mine hooked up like a normal si mpfi setup...no codes. Only thing i have is the fluttering idle, and it's probably because i rigged on an obd1 eacv onto an obd0 intake and more than likely has a bad seal due to being held in with only one bolt :P
