i was just wondering if anyone has tried to ever find b17a pistons, are they hard to find and are they expensive if you do find them? stock b17a pistons will yeild a 9:1 compression ratio in a b16a, thats why im interested in them....

 

me tried to find them? no... have i had a set? yes

there was said to be only 1500 92-93 GSR's (the car that came with the B17A1) made. so finding one is probly not gonna happen. if you really want a set call the dealer im sure they can get you some...cheaper idea is to call Summit (or people on Honda-tech) and get some forged pistons...

 

You can get aftermarket's, but they'll probably be pricey too. My friend has a 92 gsr, and he's been looking at new pistons...said they ran at least 100-200 more than regular B-series.
