oh my god...i just went to that 3geez.com website and its all about the 3rd generation accord....those ppl love the b20a5 3rd gen lude motor...man i swear those engines suck *****...someone needs to give them some advice and move up to par like we have here and get a b16 or a b18 motor...those b20a motors dont have ----....maybe i should go to the junkyard and grab some complete b20a swaps out of some ludes and sell them on that site...see how much money i could make...lol

u got it wrong again dude. Its not the B20A5 from the lude. Its the B20A motor. It has a stock of 160hp and 140ft-lbs.

you think we are kidding around with that site and we are dumb huh? the B20A5 and the B20A have totally different bolting patterns and they B20A5 WILL NOT drop in the 3rd gen like the B20A does.

B20A looks exactly like the 3rd gen B20A5 lude motor, but if u look closly u will find the differences in the JDM and the USDM engine. The cam gears are much larger in the B20A compared to the B20A5. also do know that the parts are interchangeable.

ONE THING: Do not underestimate that site my friend. There is a lot of knowledge in that site that will overwhelm you.


there are a lot of people with B16 and some with B18 swaps. Also note that ppl run on webber carbs, that can give you run for ur money.

yeah i seen some ---- bout b20a motors but then i seen a section bout b20a5 lude motors and im like ok why would anyone want that engine and they seemed to go crazy over it...but anywho...ppl who use the b20a5 got problems...i meen its alright if u just something bigger...but u can put an LS motor in there for cheaper and get more power....so more luck to the ppl who use the b20a5....i never knew there was a b20a jdm motor...damn...aint that something...160hp...oh well...lata

you know how Newbies are. Most of them wanna ask the same darn stupid questions and never wanna use the damn search buttom. but u see the A20 and the B20 are the both 2.0L as u can see but the B20XX being a DOHC has a upper hand. But with mods even that shitty B20A5 can be made a monster. But with a cast iron block, ur pretty much given a small circle to work with.

no one can use the B20A5 motor. it just wont fit in and not to mention the custom motor mounts made for it.

Also, only place racing makes B16 mounts for a 3rd gen so we guys are pretty much set for B16 conversions and some B18 swaps. but u know, we are also looking for a lilttle bit more torque at a decent rpm.

EDIT: It was 12.5 pounds of boost with a T3/T4... looked it up. It's an 11 sec car.
