I'm not sure if the stock compression 10.6:1 would be any different from doing a compression test on a 9:1 motor. Would I go by the O.E. H23A1 motor rating or should they all follow the same result. Some insight would be great. Any one know what the compression test should prove it's the motor is in fact good. Reason why is cause my cam gears do not follow the arrows indicators and that I have a knock on a freshly FULLY built motor. It didnt start at the TDC marks but at one tooth advance it does run but with knock and my wideband is reading 13.8 at idle of 700rpm but if I give it throttle it instantly reads LEAN and knocks more. not sure if the cams are still off or if they are now hittin eachother. So what should a compression test read on a JDM H22A at 9:1 compression on a compression tester. HELP
