i guess i'll be part of the H-series crowd....(although I'm N/A)
my fat ----- of a prelude walks on N/A GSR hatches, GTI's, all kinds of eclipses, and low boost b16's

I love my H

The basics have been covered already. Measure ur main journals and find out if its 55mm or 50mm. It'll give u an idea of what u can do with it without major work.

Why exactly is this H block just laying around?

Apparently research might pwn u, but u seem like u might be getting off to a good start.

Jacking parris h-t buld thread huh

There is more to that motor than they are posting

Welcome to 2004 for the all motor h crowd

Would you like to know how to make 370 crank hp has well on a honda crankshaft with 50mm mains

f23 rods are funny so are the rod bolts
yea the parris build. Id like to know how to make any really nice NA power. I have 2 h22's. one complete thats about to be dropped into my eg hatch, H2B setup. My goals with that stock motor is to leave it stock internally head and block and see just how much power I can get out of it with boltons, massive amoutns of airflow basically(na form) I spoke to derek the otehr night and I could straightup BUY that block setup from that h-t post and its cheap, but id rather build my own.

Then want to start the build on the other block. it doesnt HAVE to be the 97mm stroker, I could always just go 95mm. But im attempting the bigger is better attitude first. Boost just isnt what im looking for at this moment.

and as far as welcome to 2004.... Oh well. I wouldn't care if its welcome to 1995 lol. I just want to try it. If I can't accomplish my goal I can still go boost, and im sure boosted H2B is just as fun.

Yeah, on top of the motor you need a 0.062" jet, minimum.

Fixed.

I should write a book about the misinfo that the b series trans is ANY stronger dsepite HT bandwagon nutriders following each other into the bathouse type of behavior.

B series is NO stronger... Costs More to even make compatible, and if you use a M2F4 the gear ratrios are close as ---- anywas... but you knew that already right

THe ONLY advantage to the B tranny is the availability of aftermarket support.... (read gearsets, handcuffs and the like)....

I have a straightcut H series box (Saenzx) its cool. ANd strongt, BUt 640 WHP is almost at its limits. I will be beta testing an M factory offering whern its available, bottom line is that anything less than 350 TQ and you WILL NOT hurt a stock oem tranny.

Trust me. I know what it takes to destroy them.

I've yet to have one of the stock gearbox B-series racecars I babysit have it's transmission come apart a tenth as often as your streetcar's.

I have yet to see any Honda with as many transmission problems as your car. Except Stevo's H-series powered hatch, and it's a little faster than your bloated shitwagon.

H-series was the template that K-series was based off of... ------- disgusting.

Sad yes... I wouldnt dare put the money nor the effort into trying to stick a b serties tranny in my pig nonetheless... I would break it. ive seen them and inspected the innards... No more impressive than theh. Ross breaks them about as often as i break oem h trannys... His car is beaten NOWHERE NEAR as often either...One woth a handcuff and straightcut pro sets would be interesting, but then the adapter.... new clutch, axle gayness (gotta love OEM prelude axles taking 10k worth of 600whp rapage) Just dont make it worth it.

The CG would be inrteresting to try (WAY more interesting than a b), but not in an accord chassis. Next move is to abort the CD chassis if I cant get it to work... Cant say i didnt give it a hell of a shot.

Stock b tranny is no stronger than the failure H tranny is the botoom line... That frankenstien junkyard jb welded OEM LSD box is the one ive had in it longer than any other... WHich is wierd as theyre known for their ring gears breaking... Right widebody
LOL>
