h22 into EG

Re:h22 into EG
im pretty sure there is a decent amount of fabrication when doing this swap. not to mention it will be one heavy bitch and you wont be taking turns very well unless you also dump money into suspension. for all the time and effort, why not just build a turbo d or swap in a b18b or c1

Re:h22 into EG
because you dont see many, there is no fabbing to drop this in. its a direct bolt in. the only thing you must do is drill holes for the cable shift linkage....
piece of cake....i mean lets see.. turbo ls..or turboh22 what would you rather have

Re:h22 into EG
its a pretty simple swap if u ask me. and whoever said its gonna be a heavy pig up front. thats not true. its maybe 50-100 lbs more with the tranny. nothing fucken major. have you ever drove an eh with an h22 in it? if u havent then you shouldnt be throwing ---- like that out there. all you do depending on which mount kit you use. if u go hasport you have to drill out the holes on the tranny side mount to take out the bracket. their ---- bolts onto where the lower torque mount is. but if your going with hcp mounts which are pretty good IMO all you have to do is cut out the ear on the tranny side mount. if you look at the mount. there will be a bolt hole and there will be another small hole that you have to drill out with a 9/16's drill bit. nothing bigger cause the new bolt will move around too much and you dont want that. the wiring is cake. all you have to do is extend the wires for the alternator, the distributor and for the iacv. if u have any questions just pm me or something.
