I agree with Semnos--There are too many variables involved...

But I think it might a good race... =) Oh yea, a few hundred pounds makes quite a bit of difference. If you wanna try just have a 200 lb guy sit in your passenger seat and you'll notice the difference! =)

If its an H22, he might have the upper edge with torque and hp... but you definately have the weight advantage.

I think at the end, it'll be whos the better driver in this one. Alot of it has to do with how well traction is on both cars, how quick you shift, how well you shift, blah blah blah blah... the list could go on and on and on... but there is ONE way to find out...

LAUNCH on 3!! haha =)

H series are not slow. I took my girlfriends 2001 Prelude to the track, bone stock I ran a 15.102 @ 94.43. This in in the heaviest car honda ever made. In a Civic this will DESTROY any B16 unless the person with the h series is a complete moron who can't drive

h series are not as good as B series
i think youll be equal

BWHAHAHAHAHAH i beat b16 crx's left and right with my h22a accord. 200 hp.... your friend obviously cant drive.

i think it depends on the car the motors are in, as well as the driver. i think that newer preludes are alot heavier than a 90 accord. and crx's are also lighter than del sols. finally, h22 motors weigh alot more than b16s. weight makes a BIG difference. especially if there is about 1000lbs or more difference. i had this rather large coworker(he told me he weighed three hundred seventy something pounds), and every time i gave him a ride in my car i could REALLY feel the difference. not only that, but the driver is everything. a good driver in a slow car could very well beat a bad driver in a faster car. you could beat him, or you could get smoked. the only way to know who would win is to race. have fun.

i have a friend with an eg coupe h22a. his traction problems are rediculous. if your a decent driver you should be able to take him. because i could in my 91 crx si b16a i/e.

then again...soo many variables. good luck, and let the under 2000 lbs force be with you.
