i got eagle h beams for a d16 for my zc. I have heard from some people that they need to be machined to fit on the zc crank. Is this true?

 

They will fit the crank just fine. You may have to "notch" the block for them to fit. I had to do this on my ZC. The rods hit the bottom of the cylinder walls a little so you have to grind a "notch" so they will clear. Its easy to do. I ground about 1/8" deep and 1" long "notches" on the bottom of each cylinder wall. Be sure to do this before you start putting the motor together. That way you won't have to take it all apart to clean out the grinding dust.That SUCKs.

 

sweet i measured them and they are exatly the same just as i thought. I had just heard from some douchbag that they were different and i wanted to make sure they are the same. thanks
