ok this kid gave me a teg for some parts
problem the 90 hf guage cluster i gave him will not fit in his 89 ef hatch. not fit meaning that there is no 3 wire plug with a blue connector that plugs in the middle of the cluster.
i have a spare interior wiring harness would that solve the issue.

will the seats of a 91 teg bolt in a 91 ef?

Dude, changing that wiring harness over would be a PITA and it still would not solve all the problems, because as far as I can remember, the 88-89 clusters are shaped differently than the 90-91. You can find the clusters cheap on ebay or in a bone yard, much better than trying to rewire it. As far as the seats go..not a direct bolt in, but I'm sure it is doable if you can fab up some brackets. Good luck.

i can get a dash out in about 25 minutets and i have a spare 90 ef on stands.wiring and parts should not be a problem. i dunno i kinda feel like i gave the kid the shaft :P im gonna tear mine apart this weekend.
