ok ive got a b18 gsr block and tranny both built and comes with everything i would need (pistons , rods studs etc...) for 1300 , the block has less than 2000miles on it and was built from a bare block , i would need the complete head (with intake and exhuast manifold) , and possibly wiring harness , ecu , and im not sure what else , but my question to you all is , how much more (after the 1300 for tranny and block) would i need to spend to get this motor finished ,also if i missed anything what parts would i need?

 

do you know any specifics of the block being built Any specs on the pistons, bore size, sleeves, rods, etc? It MIGHT BE WISE to now the C/R with a stock head to get a good idea of where you are starting... you honestly dont want high C/R pistons if you want boost--you could but its not ideal.

Give more info. Also what are the specs of the tranny? Is it stock GSR? B16? Type R? LSD-Quaife? Kaaz? PHANTOM?!?

Oh yea, the most important who in the world built it and do you trust them?

yeah what are the internals built up with?

you might be spending anywhere from 400-800+ for the head. Say you buy a head minus dist, IM, fuel rail, blah blah, for 500, you will have to buy the rest of the stuff and you'll probably be spending 700+ or whatever.

I think paz is selling a B16 head in the classifieds, good guy you should pm him

 

i believe u can get a gsr head from jdmshi.som, i just orderd one from camp1320.com and they were great to deal with and would recoment it costed 640 shiped.
