checked compression with a compression checker.

if one of the timing links was off would there be the correct compression?

up up

i think the bottom chain might be off a link. would i still have compression? If itwas off a link could i just compensate by moving both cams one link left or right? I really really don't want to pull the front cover.

Im in the same boat with a fully built H22A 9:1 Ross pistons. I have fuel sitting in my runners and it runs for no more than 30 sec, then dies and I dont have alot of vac at the TB when I put my hand over it. ANYONE KNOW? if piston 1 is at TDC and the markings on skunk2 cams are set facing up and in the center of the cam caps,,,,,,is the correct timing minus the dizzy's fine tuning.
