------- CLUTCH!
So what can make a clutch slip
I put in a clutch about five months ago..and the master cylinder broke so i got a new one... whenever i drive my Honda Civic D16z6 with the DX tranny....for long periods of time or it is hot outside..the clutch slipps and it can hardly drive... I then went to LSD motorsports.com and got a 6 puck..with 8lb flywheel..and after installation...drove it abou t 6 miles and it started slipping again! so i brought it back and got a lucas clutch and it still slipps.... what could be the problem? master or slave cylinder?? I dont know!

It was a new 8lb flywheel...when the 6 puck was installed...it made semi-deep rivits where it looked like only the outside was gripping...so i ordered this flywheel "ring" kinda thing from LSD motorsports...u unscrew all the screws on the flywheel and put this circular plate on it...and it is good as new... sorry but it is hard to explain the part that goes onto the flywheel.
Yes, it was the Flywheel insert that you purchased. I talked to a few people about this and they seemed to agree that something is wrong with your pressure system. Is anything loose on the Hydraulic line? Like where its bolted up/down. Be sure to see whats going on with the slave cylinder man. Good luck
does the disc/flywheel looks overheated? (rainbow color
)
also, no offense but how long have u been driving manuals
similar problem happened to a friend of mine, he`s a manual noob so i told him to take me out in his car.
and what happened is that he rest his foot at the pedal, he`s not pushing it but the clutch just disengaue a little bit and caused it to over heat.

Actually...when i took out my exedy stage II clutch..boo it was a rainbow color...i knew heat did this... ive been driving a manual for 3 years...so yea maybe it is possibly me... i do seem to keep my foot resting on the pedal at all times... shitty.
