Default Frankenstein-ed civic

So I just bought a 93 dx with a D16y7 and a si trans in it. - so I'm told.... The ****** vibrates real bad at weird times (rpm's I think), but not all the time. It has an aftermarket muffler, home made exhaust and the stiffer motor mounts, a newer clutch, no power steering or a/c, and a stock shifter. Now I'm not exactly an idiot, but this is my first honda coming from mustangs and a dodge that I never did anything other than smile when it was gone. It's going to be my daily driver for now, but I plan on buying everything I need (turbo, bov, intercooler, etc) over the winter and eating up everyone's mustangs come spring time. Any ideas as far as the vibration goes or suggestions as to a build plan? (More importantly the vibration) But I'd like something in the range of 12 - 25 psi as far as the turbo goes.

the stiff mounts will make it shake like a ----------er at idle.

i guess i could have commented on that vibration too. its the mounts. you can keep them for better traction or replace them with new stock mounts

i say 30 psi with a T88 turbo will do the trick you should make around 150 hp and the stock internals will be fine as long as you get high pressure fuel pump and a 10:1 fmu those 12:1 fmu's suck make sure you run a 4" down pipe then reduce down to 1 1/2" exhaust so you dont overspool !

I know the mounts cause some vibration, but it doesnt really vibrate all that much at idle, its at random times, almost corrisponding with a certian rpm. For example if im at 1800-2000 rpms my whole car shakes, the rearview actually vibrates like i have a system in my car. It does it in all gears pretty much only at the same rpms but after im past 2000 or so it rides like a caddy. If I had to make a stupid guess at it I would say something to do with the pressure plate or the exhaust is too tight to the underbody (also a thought I had, but not very likely). Or from expierence with an auto trans, its almost like when a torque converter goes bad and its makes fucked up noises/vibrations at certian speeds, well my car vibrates at certian rpms..... If that made any sense.......

And if the psi's dont matter, what can i do to get the most hp for my buck? Is it the ecu what I should be more focused on, or what? What is going to matter most other than obviously a good set up??

I'm thinking about even cutting the wheel wells out so i can put a wider/bigger rim and tire on....?

I appreciate the offer, but I'm a build it myself kinda person. Dont get me wrong, I'd like to just buy a kit and through it on, but I like the idea of having something no one else has.
