Default Final couple of problems before i fire the rex up.*UPDATED*

Ok. i have two problems that i cant seem to sovle . the first is i have a couple hoses left dangling. the first is on the to of the intake manifold there are three vacum hoses the one in the middle goes down to the runners and thru to the bottom where does it go from there . second on the thermosat there are two outlet that look like they get hoses where do these hoses go.

lastly i have a couple of wires not doing anything on the engine harness. on the harness after the evac hook up there is a connection that looks like a ground wire with a eyelet. can that go anywhere? also before that i have a double plug that i thought goes to the oil sender unit put the unit has only one plug that sticks out. what the ---- is going on. if anyone has good pictures or site that have this info help a brother out. helms and others arnt much help.

if its an a6

the bigest of the three vacume lines coming from the top of the manifold goes through the runner and hooks to the black box on the back of your block.

Im guessing the short wire with an eyelet grounds to one of the two thermostat housing bolts.

The double plug is coolent sensor, it's the switch to turn your fan on and off. it looks kinda like your oil pressure sender and is right next to it.

the z6 block doesnt have a coolent sensor on the back of the block like the a6 does. the z6 has the sensor screwed into the thermostat housing and has a two wire connector.

Which wiring harness are you using?

your using the a6 harness and the z6 intake?
is the throttle body from the a6?

the extra cooling line is probably a small one that goes to the fast idle valve under the z6 tb.
the extra 2 plug is not on the z6 block.

yea im useing a dx harness with the mini me swap. the z6 block doesnt have a two prong plug but it does have one right next to the oil filter. i dont have anything on the harness for that. second on the back of the a6 intake manifold there is an outlet looks coolant. on the z6 block right below the outlet on the manifold there are two more outlets on the thermasat.

im moving along i replaced the rocker assembly with a new a6 one. turns over fine. the wireing harness was missing the plug i needed so i took on off a a6 harness. that is solved. my last thing is on the intake manifold of the a6 there is a outlet under the number one runner closest to the dizzy that is bare and dont see where it goes. also right under that on the z6 block there are two coolant outlets that have to be hooked up . so that where imat and should be able to fire this thing up tomorrow.
