Filling Block... How To.... UPDATED

Re: Filling Block..... How To
Well crx304 is "testing" it on his car for daily driving aplications.
I think alot of us are waiting to see how it turns out over the summer. I know I am!
But either way, I would probably want a spare block arund just in case.

Filling the block SEEMS like a good idea in my mind, but there isn't a big enouh body of evidence to support that yet. Stock sleeves are weak, period, is all I can state when it comes to Honduhs... everything else is opinion, conjecture, etc. I plan on filling a block at some point, but in the meantime lets not bandwagon hop.

Re: Filling Block..... How To
my setup
stock bore b16 "speacil top secret mod to allow for a deper fill"
moroso block filler
used factory head gasket "top secret gasket spray"
used factory head "bolts"
tubonetics 60-1 (33psi on the dyno 28 at the track)
running a T stat
as far as cooling goes if i have the thing fully warmed in the pits ad have to wait in the staging lanes for say 15min i can barley get it warmed back up before a run
sitting on the dyno for hours it only over heated once when the guy in the car forgot to switch the fan on
from my experience i would totaly recomend it for any low budget racercar from reading crx304's experience why not try it out.

Re: Filling Block..... How To
if you needed to get your block milled, couldnt you fill the block upside down up to the water line.
then any excess on the deck surface would be milled off. seems like it would get maximum amount filled.
