Figuring TDC on the crankshaft...?? F22 engine
So I think that my timing belt slipped off a few teeth and I lost compression. Short story is the timing belt sliped a bit to one side of the came gear, and heated up and stretched a bit, cutting a groove through the belt housing and everyting. Car died just like a broken belt. Opened up the housing and the belt was frayed and about 25% thinner.
I just tore it apart and now I am confused as to how to read TDC at the crank. I only have the Honda shop manual, which it seems to infer that I should already know this. I dont have a haynes manual handy to tell me all the simple stupid ----. so...
how do I figure out TCD at the crank on an F22a4....should there be a mark on the flywheel? :1

and a word of advise, if you're engine doesnt have the seal retainer I advice you go to your local honda and buy it. It costs maybe 5 dollars and it's cheap insurance to make sure that seal wont walk out on you. the part number is 06923-POA-306
I know many have gone without it, but it's more prone to happen after you have worked on that part of the engine.
Thanks for the part number. I saw the part in my manual, but didnt know I needed it. Was going to do the water pump too since it was out. So I was in the garage looking at anouther flywheel I have, and I cant see any alignment marks, what exactly am I looking for after I pull the plug out of the inspection hole.
