Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
sure its the pump and not just your bearings?

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
is your oil pressure where its sopposed to be?
|
Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
i meant bearings like the ones on your crank...but at 60k i doubt thats the problem

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
Whats your oil pressure gauge say? Mine is about 20 psi at idle after its all warmed up and the oil is thinned.

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
if that light even flashes, immediatly drop the oil pan and check out the oil pick up, make sure its not clogged. If its full of ---- in the bottom of the pan, your pretty much done.

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
I don't have a oil guage to tell me xxxpsi i am getting.so i guess i have to drop the pan and take a look.what could be clogging it? or better yet what would clog it?

Re:FAULTY OIL PUMP
pieces of metal could clog it. :-X On a D series I would drive it, but a B16 hurts more. :-\
