Thats your problem, the Da shocks are longer then a Ef one. Since its longer you compressing it more then it would see in a Da. I had kyb shocks, with H&R springs that someone gave to me; I hated the ride a lot. Eibach springs FTW.

its only an inch difference and i have it referenced to sit an inch higher than the lowest it can go to have shock travel. its not that bouncy at all, but i think i could benefit from the extra shock travel......

That HT thread posted is where I would look if you want to get some made.

Personally, if I didn't know someone with a welder, I'd just buy the Groundcontrol top hats since it'll probably be cheaper than paying a welder to make them.

They should help a bit if you are lowered a lot. Most lowered Hondas have very little suspension travel, and they should add another half inch (which might double what you have now, depending at the height you're at.)

If you run the correct, or slightly smaller tires, you won't run into any serious rubbing issues. I've had some very low Hondas and the only one that rubbed the metal was on HUGE tires.

This isn't a ride height vs. function thread, so I won't say anymore. :3

^^Those look nice. I'd make them myself with some steel pipe like the H-T thread first though.

I found mine locally on craigslist for $60 for all 4. Just like you i didnt have access to a welder. I think you should try posting in the want to buy thread at HT. I dont have to lower as much to get a dumped ride Shock travel made a load of differences in my experience/opinion.
This is how mine look like:

I should probably do this...
I've got EF springs/struts on my EG. Love the drop, but I've got maybe all total of 1/2 inch of suspension travel.
Rides ok though with my 195/60/14s.

however, with more travel, the wheels will be traveling UP. into your fenders. My tire shoulders were getting all screwed even with the minimal travel I had until I got a harbor freight dolly set to flare my wells. Wish I still had fender liners though. I pulled a shrub out of my door jamb the other day.

Me neither.

I just used a bat, worked pretty easily on the thin Honda metal.

But unless your tires are oversized from the factor diameter, your control arms will hit the wheelwell before your tires get cut, on an EG/DC chassis at least.
