Default Engine Rebuilding Guide

Well i ran across this excellent guide in another site and i tough hey i havent seen one of these here at HMT; i searched and nothing, so i guess its a good addition for all to have.

good link, although half the guy's on here will never do half the ---- on that link.

its seriously not hard to rebuild a block. the things you have to be most careful about are your torque specs and clearances.

plastigauge is perfectly fine to measure clearances.

PLASTIC SCALES!!! WHAT ARE YOU, CRAZY!!

i have a wood one with a thin metal edge, if you rub it on your shoe (the metal part) fast, then touch it to someone, you can give them a second degree burn :P HAHA!!!

Been posted before.
I didn't follow it to a Tee when I assmebled my motor, but I kept it in mind and and read it a few times before.
