Default engine problem...need hlep

I have a 92 civic hatch with d16z6. The problem I hame having is that when I crank the car, the will idle like ***. The motor goes from 1000 then to 2000 rpms and continues that. I changed the O2 censor just it was doing before I put that in. I have no idea what it could be. A friend of mine that is build hondas say it could be the trottle positioning censor.

Any suggestions?

AUstin

Have you messed with the idle screw at all?

If you screw it in too far (or out, I don't remember), it will do exactly what you're saying and drive like ----.
