in the engine bay everything is there for the 5sp conversion on the ek's.
all you have to do is put in your parts for the 5sp. You do NOT have to drill out your mount or firewall. -bolt in master cyl. and clutch pedal assembly -bolt in new brake pedal (only the pedal not the assemblly) -bolt in clutch reservoire -route the hydraulic line and slave cyl -remove the auto shift box (drill out spot welds) -remove the auto trany -install 5sp trany (trany mount is in the same place) -install shift linckage -drill new holes for the shift linkcage under center console. that should be it. 98ctr Ps: you will have to cut the wires from the auto shift box and splice some of them thougheter to be able to start the car. |
