ef/b6 1.5 crank pulley on 1.5 b7
I'm pretty sure it's ok, but I thought I would make sure. Don't just the 1.6's have the harmonic balancers?

Re: ef/b6 1.5 crank pulley on 1.5 b7
depends on the snout size, it MIGHT fit.

I didn't mean if it fits or not, i'll find out I guess. wondering if it ok to actually use it. the b7 one is bigger/heavier for the PS and AC. like is it going to throw it of balance or something?

Mista bone will tell you it will ---- up your main bearings, however I have been using the lightweight stock d crank pulley on all my turbo D16's without any problems throughout the years.

LOL, just ------- with Abaz, we differ on opinons..........like assholes!
Unless your spinning the B7 to the moon (above 7000rpm) the crank pulley won't matter. Just beware the timing marks my not be in the correct spot between generations. D16's with their longer stroke need some dampening. I wonder if Abaz is using TT rods on his boosted motors. The added mass could act as a dampener. Inline 4's are the worst, so sez Henry Ford, but he sold a few million of them! |
