my ecu is throwing a 13 - BARO Sensor (Atmospheric Pressure)

where is this at? what does it look like? thanks

 

some ECUs use an internal baro sensor - it's actually a component on the board. otherwise, it should be a 3 wire sensor hanging around someplace. in my '91 CRX it's just up under the dash near the door hinge on the passenger side.

 

i found it, but what does it do? is it ok to run the car without it or will it hurt the performance?

i noticed when i pluged it back up my oil pressure dropped a little bit like 5-10 psi at idle.....
