Re: ebay clutches????
I had an XTD stage 2 clutch. It held for 6 months and less than 10k miles. It started slipping like a ----------er after that.
This was on a stock accord. |
Re: ebay clutches????
I guess its hit and miss. I put a XTD 6fuck sprung clutch in my friends 97 lude and its pushing 8lbs and holding no problem. 2 years at that.

Re: ebay clutches????
I think competition clutch is a great clutch, whether twing or single. and they are the lowest price for reputable clutches, my friend uses the stage 4. buying multiple cheap clutches that fail adds up.

Re: ebay clutches????

Re: ebay clutches????
I got the xtd 6 puck clutch. It slipped horribly on 170whp. Switched to a lsd pp. Worked much better then.

Re: ebay clutches????
i guess xtd's suck as much as std's, and someone said that the F1's werent bad. this is good info
|
Re: ebay clutches????
Don't use a f1.
2 of my friends used a XTD but neither was boosted so I don't know what to tell you. I have a brand new XTD 6 puck sprung for a d series. I got it with a car I bought and I don't know if I want to put it in my daily. :-\ |
Re: ebay clutches????
The XTD stage 3 with light flywheel is not that bad for an ebay special. But like I said I have never has any thing thats really fast.
