i have 3 older eagle rods with the small rod bolts and 1 new one with the bigger head (for d16)

RODS ARE THE SAME SIZE...except for the bolt head
u dont have to grind anything on the rod but u must still notch the block

I'm not sure if your talking about the same cncmotorsports, but if you are, I'd rather buy rods and pistons from bin laden. Stories too crazy to even post.

if you are talking about civics, you don't have to notch anything to use H beam rods, only when using x beam, why would you use x beam anyways. and I the 2 different bolt sizes for eagle H beam rods are: 5/16 arp bolts rated at 600 hp, 3/8 arp bolts rated at 900 hp, I got the 3/8 bolts, at least thats what they advertised.

Where is this information coming from? Why would everyone under the sun, including endyne believe that the block needs to be notched? I looked on Eagle's site, but the tech page is under construction. I've just never heard anyone say that.

He's talking out his has...he says civic's, like they all come with the same engine...B-series don't need to notch...D-series you have to notch.
He has a B-series, so he doesn't know what we are talking about :P

dam right I'm flucking drunk, but that was a mistake, most time I automatically think B series are the only engines around. my bad...
