when rebuilding my engine i used the clevite77 bearings from the machine shop i went to. tey were all the same size and the inpected my crank at no charge. needless to say the car has been doing good. i would have gotten the OEM ones but they are abit too pricey for me, atleast at the time they were. its cost me like 40 bucks i think for the main journal bearings and like 35 for the rods.

just have the shop check your crank and rods to check for wear!

i didnt even use plastigauge..can you say flat rate?

lol... i took my crank out today and looks like its brand new, iwas impressed. so hopefully everything goes well.. just have to wait till my pistons, rods, and rings get here.. since honda wont cross reference my "acura" parts im gonna have to find some clevite bearings.

No but taking it to the machine shop and having them do it, you got "retailed" hah, I always check my bearings, especially if a machine shop has touched my block.
