Re:eagle d16 rods in d15 ?
ATTENTION! I dont the crank is the problem, its the block, I came across a similar problem I bought a je piston/eagle rods combo for a b18c5 hoping it would have bveen a step up for my b16, the rods where too long, so I ask around about changing the crank, the answer was no way. b18 block is higher than b16. so its the same relation with d15 and d16

Re:eagle d16 rods in d15 ?
not necessarily.
The D15 has 134mm rods, 84.5 mm stroke, and a 75mm bore.
The D16 has 137.?mm rods, 90.0mm strok and a 75mm bore. These are pretty close, there are a few 1/1000s here and there.
So if the D16 has roughly 6mm longer stroke, that would equal 3mm at the top and 3mm at the bottom, And a 3mm longer rod- that would equal the same lower position as a d15 and a 6mm higher than D15 position at the top of the stroke. Right? So yeah, maybe the blocks are different. I've got a few of each at home, I'll check it out.

I am pretty sure both blocks have the same deck height. I have always asked myself this question too, would putting D16 rods in a d15 work? yes, they are longer.. but will there be interference? I'm sure someone has tried this..
